In the coming weeks myself along with a couple long time friends are flying into Colorado for a birthday party. The birthday boy knows we are coming but we are still brainstorming birthday ideas. Obviously, the surprise portion of the whole thing is out but being he lives in a snowy region of the country we figure including the stuff into the celebration is a good idea. The birthday boy has a season’s pass to a nearby Rocky Mountain slope. I along with one of the other guys coming have not been on a snowboard in a couple seasons now. And honestly after buying the plane ticket don’t really want to drop another hundred bucks on a day on the slopes.
We instead are planning to go tubing. Sounds weird, being we are all in our mid twenties but last time I checked sledding is awesome. As far as birthday themes go, one centered around sledding on a snowy mountain seems really fun. It is cheap, a great way to get the blood pumping and for the people who don’t live high in the Rockies a great way to enjoy winter. Now to find some party decorations online.
