My older brother David just had his big thirty second birthday the other day, and now, come the first week of February, my sister will be turning thirty five years old. She loves her dog, Samson – a gorgeous black lab – and so I decided what better of a birthday idea than to rent out a space at the dog park, setup some cool eats and treats and have my whole family meet up there to celebrate Alex’s birthday in style. I have to admit, that while this may seem like an unusual birthday idea, my sister LOVES her dog, and she has had the dog for thirteen years and he is currently sick with cancer. So who knows how much longer she will get to spend some time with him before he is gone. That being said, this is where I came up with the birthday idea that I got the other day. I have even called up my mother and told her about the birthday idea, and she thought it was just a grand notion. Seeing as we all have dogs, it will ultimately be a great party for the pooches as well!
