Some people think that once we reach a certain age that we should stop trying to come up with birthday ideas and I think that coming up with birthday ideas doesn’t get really fun until we get a lot older. As we get older, it should be that birthdays become a more precious commodity—just ask the law of supply—and that’s why every birthday should be more fun than the other. I’m not a kid anymore, but when I know my birthday is about to arrive I get out my birthday ideas notebook and start brainstorming about what how my latest birthday should be enjoyed. The cool thing is that I give my mind free reign to come up with the most outrageous birthday ideas and only later will I decide if it’s possible. I mean, some of my birthday ideas lists have had things like a moon landing theme, a fire eater theme which didn’t go very well with anyone and even a paper bag theme—I had no idea what I was doing with that one. However, from all the crazy birthday ideas every once in a while a really good one would pop into my head and walla my birthday idea had arrived. So I say be kind to your shrinking number of birthday and celebrate them with a cool birthday theme.
