Last night I asked my husband how it is that I seemed to always get roped into to finding birthday party supplies and making cupcakes for all my friends when they are planning a party. He said that it's because everyone knows that when it comes to coming up with a creative birthday them, or finding the best birthday party supplies, that I'm the person to call. He says that I know where to look and that I'm creative, something that not every one of my friends can claim. I knew he was right, since when some of my friends are left to come up with a birthday theme, the ideas are quite frightening, literally. A few years ago my best friend was going to plan a traditional over the hill party for her husband who has a birthday in October, and when I heard about it, I quickly redirected her birthday theme ideas to a skeleton and Halloween theme.
