I called one of my friends earlier this week to ask her if she could help me with some birthday ideas for my husband's party next month. Since, she seems to always throw the perfect party, I knew I could probably depend on her to give me the best birthday ideas. Plus, she'll give me information on where she generally orders her party supplies.


She was thrilled when I told her I was planning my husband's 45th birthday party and I was in serious need of birthday ideas. She assured me that I'd come to the right place and not only did she have birthday ideas, she also had a place that I could order some great party decorations, once we decided on a theme.


It took us a little while, but we finally decided that since my husband loves soccer, the best thing would be to plan a theme with party decorations around the soccer idea. Once we'd decided on a definite theme, I asked her if she had any idea where I could find party decorations with a sports or soccer theme. While we were talking, I browsed Shoponmine to see if I could find the exact party decorations I was looking for. If everything goes according to schedule, I'll actually have all the party decorations I ordered in house this week. I can't wait to see them. I'm going to have to either take them over to my friends house and leave them or hide them really well. He's used to having a simple party every year, but this year I wanted to make this party a little special and surprise him. At this point, he isn't suspicious and I hope to keep it that way.
