I can definitely see the allure after reading the first three books and watching all of the films. Being that her birthday is coming up in mid October she wants to use the power of Hogwarts birthday themes to transform her 23rd into something magical. She was over the other day planning out what she wants to do when we got to figuring out costumes. Like all great birthday ideas, she wants this one to be a costume party based around wizards, Potter and all that is magic. Immediately I knew where to look. Her favorite Potter character is none other then the only girl in the Gryffindor trio, Hermione. On a whim, I thought Shop On Mine might have something we can use and sure enough the first page of costumes had a Gryffindor Robe she fell in love with. Being a broke college student the price made her hesitate, even though it was only 47 dollars. That is really good for premade movie based costumes in my opinion. I offered to help her out as a birthday gift. She finally decided this costume would just make her 23rd birthday themes party and justified the online purchase with the fact she could use it for Halloween too. It was the perfect kill two birds with one stone.

 She wants the medium Gryffindor Robe even though it is sized for kids so that she looks good for her party. She is planning some alterations to make it a form fitting tribute to her favorite band of wizards.
