birthday themes, birthday party favors

One of my friends has a daughter who just had a fun little Tinkerbell party. She needed an extra adult to watch the kids, so I decided to volunteer for my good friend. Having experience interning as an event planner, I also helped coordinate her party. My friend didn't have any birthday ideas, so we brainstormed birthday themes. We decided one of the most popular birthday themes for little girls: Tinkerbell.

Fortunately, her daughter loves Tinkerbell. It was one of the easiest birthday themes to apply. For birthday party decorations, we strung Christmas twinkle lights around banisters and entryways. We also found fake vines that we used as indoor foliage. We found some images of forests and gullies and hung these pictures on the wall. We covered sofas and tables with green cloth from a fabric shop. We found some fake potted bright flowers and used them as centerpieces. My friend's home was instantly transformed into Tinkerbell's natural habitat. We decided that she had enough in her budget to make tutus and crowns as birthday party favors, which the girls threw on at the beginning of the party. We wanted to keep our birthday themes consistent, so we had a wand making activity and created other crafts. The night ended by watching the new Tinkerbell movie. The party was a hit!
