It is pretty crazy to think we are about to head into 2010. That number seems so big to me. Growing up I used to paw through my dad’s old collection of comics. In a few of them were looks at what people of the 60’s thought the 21st century would be like. While we may be there in some aspects were definitely not flying around like the Jetsons. When looking at how easy shopping has got, I think we are farther ahead then what futurists back then might have thought. I can hop online find party decorations for New Year’s Eve from a store based out of New York, buy and have them shipped across the country in a few days. That’s pretty amazing.
What else is amazing is the price of party decorations. They are way less then what I would have thought. I’m not really looking for anything branded with 2010 but as far as streamers, confetti, plates and all those sorts of party decorations go, it is not so bad. This is a very exciting last few weeks of 2009. Just hope everyone is as excited as I am for the holidays.
